We are pleased to advise that Brief Convey™ Version 9.3 will be available Saturday, February 6th, 2016. During the upgrade, Brief Convey will be unavailable to customers from Friday, February 5th at 10:00 p.m. to Saturday, February 6th at 6:00 a.m.
This release includes the following updates:
We regularly ask customers how we’re doing and how we can make your experience better. This year, you told us one of the most important priorities is to improve the lender documents available in Brief Convey. This release includes several improvements that will allow us to deliver the most current documents to you in a fast and efficient manner.
We are excited to advise that to date we have reviewed and updated all documents for the following lenders:
- TD Canada Trust
- RBC Royal Bank
- BMO Bank of Montreal
- ComputerShare Canada
Postal Code Lookup
We have upgraded the Postal Code Lookup feature which will result in improved speed and stability.
Form C Charge
The Form C Charge document will now generate with the names of the Buyers as Transferors on a Purchase file and the names of the Borrowers as Transferors on a Mortgage file. The execution block will also complete with the Buyers and Borrowers as appropriate.
Charges to be Removed
When importing a title search that has the following charges, these charges will now be marked as “Remove”:
- Land (Spouse Protection) Act Charge
- Court Order
- Crown Debt
Please note it is important that you review all data that has been imported from a title search in order to ensure its accuracy.
