FAQs - TPR Integration in the Conveyancer

Why are the Land Title forms changing?

The Property Registry (TPR) in Manitoba is moving towards electronic registration of their Land Titles Forms.   As a partner of TPR we are integrating their eForms into The Conveyancer.

When will the TPR forms become mandatory?

All TPR forms will be mandatory December 17, 2017.

When will the eCaveat, eTransfer and eRDA forms be available in The Conveyancer?

We are planning to make the eCaveat, eTransfer and eRDA forms available later this year. We will announce the forms’ availability in an upgrade notice.  Please keep checking for broadcast messages and emails.

Why are the old mortgage and Discharge forms still available in the Forms Tab?

The old forms are available in the Forms tab as most of the lenders have not accepted the new eMortgage form. The lenders have until the mandatory date of December 17th to accept the new eMortgage form.

Signing Page – Why are some names not appearing on the signing page ?

Any data such as covenantor, corporate officers and witness names that are on the signature pages cannot be sent to TPR as the signature pages do not exist yet and are only generated when the smart form is locked. Once the smart form is locked and the signature page is returned, you can then enter the names on the signature pages.   Signature pages do not go into the smart form as they are not a land titles matter. TPR does not examine the execution.

Why does the eMortgage not work with my EMP deal?

eForms are not supported in EMP deals in (version 19.2a).  They will be available in version 19.2b.  We will announce the form’s availability in an upgrade notice.  Please keep checking for broadcast messages and emails.
